I help students and universities break down barriers between learning and doing by empowering students to become active participants in the learning process, not merely passive recipients of knowledge. I am a student-centered higher education program leader and company founder with extensive experience developing, designing, and scaling co-curricular and experiential learning programs. I specialize in developing industry partnerships and university initiatives centered around tech, entrepreneurship, innovation, internship placement, practicums, and domestic study away. I am experienced in directing a diverse student services portfolio of programs focused on career development, academic support, learner development, and integrative learning.
My aim is to create high quality academic programs that complement students’ academic coursework with real-world experiences and hands-on learning opportunities. Much of my work is centered around connecting students with mentors, resources, and expertise outside and alongside the university through dynamic experiential programs.
My work is grounded in a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside energetic and compelling college students every day. I am endlessly optimistic about the future and I recognize the important role that colleges and universities play in developing ethical future leaders. I am intentional about creating opportunities for reflection and I am passionate about student development. I am deeply committed to the liberal arts and I am a supporter of institutional innovation and transformation to serve the ever-evolving needs of students in the 21st century.
